LEGO®, Minecraft, and Coding
Summer Camps in the SF Bay Area
Join us for small-group Summer Camps in the San Francisco Bay Area starting June 10th, 2024.
Our teachers mentor students, ages 5-13, in LEGO Design & Engineering, Robotics,
and Minecraft & Roblox adventures.
We've been teaching tech to students since 1994, and love creating new curriculum each year. We offer unique camps with custom-designed curriculum.
Our LEGO camps feature using gears and motors to design creatures and vehicles, as well as a robotics camp where students build and program bots to compete in fun challenges with an Olympics theme.
Our Minecraft camps range from beginner level to more advanced with use of redstone and command block coding. The Roblox and Minecraft Modding camp offers an introduction into designing 3d models and games.
Coding is a part of most of our camps, including Lego Max, Girls Tech Academy, Intermediate Minecraft, Robotics, and Roblox. Scratch is used in most of these camps to design games with code blocks.
As important as the curriculum is, creating a comfortable and fun environment for students to learn and express their creativity is what TechKnowHow camps is all about!

MOTORIZED LEGO® Projects + MAKing game controllers w. lego sensors
Campers build unique, motor-powered LEGO vehicles, just perfect for Minion mischief! Make a rocket trike, running dinosaur, super cycle, speedboat, and more! Then, explore sensors while creating a LEGO joystick, handlebars and "glove" controller to direct action in computer games.
AGES 6-9
LEGO MAX
MOTORIZED LEGO® Projects + GAME CODING
LEGO fans discover unique engineering skills with gears, pistons, and light bricks to make spectacular motor-powered creations. Build a chomping shark, train with a LED-lighted headlamp, a remote-controlled vehicle, and more! Then, embark on a coding adventure using programming blocks to complete computer games with Scratch.
Minecraft BIG BUILDERS
Minecraft-themed Lego® Builds & Minecraft Game Projects
Campers create a motorized LEGO Minecraft Wolf, Enderman, Phantom, Spider and Creeper! Plus, build creative projects in Minecraft such as solar-powered homes, lava farms. TNT cannons, a giant bee house and much more.
Ages 6-9
Ages 7-11
intermediate Minecraft
redstone & command block projects + making minecraft-themed games in scratch
Delve deep into Minecraft's coding and engineering systems. Use command blocks and redstone to design piston-powered obstacle courses, rapid fire arrow cannons, enderpearl-triggered magic, and more! Plus, use Scratch to create Minecraft-inspired games, learning block coding fundamentals and logic.
Ages 7-11
GIRLS TECH ACADEMY
lego engineering projects + scratch coding
Led by female instructors, this camp develops coding and LEGO engineering skills through exciting projects and game-making. Create motorized projects featuring LEGO animals, vehicles, fantasy creatures and more! Then, make games by coding with Scratch, the world's most popular intro programming software.
Ages 8-12
Ev3 ROBOTICS & GAME MAKING
bot-building & programming + scratch coding
Get ready for fast-paced robot action! Build and program LEGO EV3 bots to perform tasks for the Robolympics, from arena contests and maze races to ball launching and capture the flag!
Plus, learn coding skills with Scratch, as we spend afternoons designing a variety of robot and drone-themed games
Ages 9-13
roblox & Minecraft modding
roblox game design + 3d modeling
Create immersive 3D-worlds and games to play! In Roblox, design obbies, a 3d racing game, and a Zombie survival game. In Blockbench, will learn to use 3D modeling and coding techniques to modify and design custom Minecraft mobs, blocks, gear, and swords.

"My 7 year old son just completed the LEGO camp. It was fantastic! Well organized, very engaging and the instructor was supportive of my son's desires to share with the class throughout the session. First thing my son asked after class on Friday, "can I do that again?""
Sanem E.
"This is by far the best coding program! My kids learned a lot in their coding camps and developed further interest in coding."
Serena E.
"The camps have been fantastic. Kevin, Tenzin, and Elias are really great. Their patience with kids and making sure all the kids are able to participate is truly amazing."
