The Forbidden Temple awaits! This intermediate Minecraft class welcomes intrepid explorers and beginning coders as we delve deep into Minecraft's coding and engineering systems. You’ll design traps and thunder chambers with command blocks and redstone, use fill commands to quickly construct buildings, and design fireworks snowballs, parkour courses, and more! We will also use Scratch to create Minecraft-inspired games to play, while learning block coding fundamentals and the basics of computer science. Take home your Scratch games to play on a PC or Mac. Prerequisite: Must be familiar with Minecraft and comfortable with typing lines of code. Bring lunch, snacks and a beverage.
