Learn building and programming skills with an immersive Minecraft-themed experience as we delve deep into Minecraft's coding and engineering systems. Using command blocks or redstone, you’ll design piston-powered obstacle courses, rapid arrow cannons, solar-powered homes, mob arena games, enderpearl-triggered healing & levitation magic, and more!
We will also use Scratch to create Minecraft-inspired games to play, while learning block coding fundamentals and the basics of computer science. Design games such as Runaway Minecart and Catapult Defense! Take home your Scratch games to play on a PC or Mac. Prerequisite: Must be familiar with Minecraft, able to read, and able to type 5-10 lines of code daily. Bring lunch, snacks and a beverage.
